501's, the new deal. I'm from Mn. worn levis, 501 & 505's, carharts, wrangler, over the last 20 yrs. I've always liked the 501's the best. stf was not available most of the time, localy. so, I bought pre-s 501 & 505 zipper, made in USA. I've kept about 25 pair from over the last 20 + yrs, holes, rips and all other stuff that happens to jeans. enjoying the forum, thanks Ned, for the help. I think you are right on, the size & stf sizing idea.
