i have gone into countless stores to buy my Levi's. while they might not have the large selection of Levis.com its pretty straight forward when you walk in, walk to the wall with the Levi's, find the style you want, then the color, and last see if they have it in your size. in the end (and with a trip to the fitting room or 2) you walk out with what you need. i think that buying jeans online should be just like that. now im going to go smoke a cig because its 2:30 am and im going to try to explain the hell on earth that is trying to find a pair of jeans on Levis.com which will be the same pair of white 501's. for this reenactment the part of website will be played by Levis.com website - shop men's or woman's me - well i do have the xy chromosome so i am going to go for mens website - you can choose what you are looking for by top rated, or one of our category's like jeans, other departments or sales me - im looking for jeans so i think i will go with the jeans category on this one website - great you chose to look at jeans but now you have tour choice of sub category's such as by leg, fit, wash or big and tall me - i just want a pair of 501's so im going to go by fit website - great you want to choose by fit we have 12 different kinds me - yeah i know i have owned most of them but im going to go for the first choice the 501's me - wow this seems easy im just one click away from getting those white 501s i want website - great now what kind of 501's would you like we have 5 types me - ummmmm what website - we have 7 kinds of Broken In's, 9 kinds of Shrink to Fit's, 4 kinds of The Classics, 4 kinds of Black, Grey, and Neutrals, and 4 kinds of Premium's. me - yeah ummm that's great. even better when i ordered my shrink to fits, but i kinda just want a plain pair of 501's that are white. website - well we have 5 different kinds to choose from me - ok well i think im just going to go for the classics because that's what i want a classic pair of 501's in white website - great we have 4 different kinds of classic 501's me - ummm i don't really see how that's possible, having 4 different types of the classic 501 jeans, but ill give it a go website - now just pick what type of classic 501's you want me - ok ill go with the second one website - you chose rinsed me - yes i did, now lets look at the colors, i want white website - im sorry you cant choose a color now you have to pick a size first me - ummmm ok that is odd but ill play along, here is my size website - ok, now pick a color me - i choose..... wait a min there is only one color website - well for this style and type there is only one color me - ok ill try another one website - go ahead we have many styles, types and colors. me - wtf im looking at all these different types and in different sizes and you dont have any other colors website - yes we do each type of 501's has its on unique color me - that's just stupid what if i want a specific type of 501's, oh i don't know, maybe a plain pair of fracking 501's, in a specific color. website - why would you want that when we have so many types and predefined colors to choose from me - because i want a god damn pair of regular 501's in the god damn color and god damn size i want them in website - well im sorry you feel that way but you have to choose between the different types we have available online me - no i don't, im just going to go to the mall, 15 min away, to the Levi's store and get what i want website - nooooooo you cant do that me - yes, yes your right that would be stupid of me. they over charge me. i can just walk the extra 500 feet to the jc penny and get them delivered to my door for cheaper website - lies lies lies you cant do that me - oh no wait your right jc penny doesn't have white 501's website - hahahahahahaha see you must order from me now me - ummmm no i found a sears 4 miles from one of my IT job's tomorrow that has them in stock. yes 501's, you know normal 501's, that are my size, in the color i want and are in stock. website - they lie me - i think ill go with there inventory report that says most locations except this one don't have them. and that this one location that's close to me has them in my size. sooooooooo suck a 12 foot donkey dick and die website i already gave you 100 bucks this year. website - nooooooooooo im melting. me - i could really use a smoke now.... oh wait i have one i think im going to go smoke it and then go to bed because its 348 in the morning. i cant remember where i was going with this post because im so tired and have to be up for work in less than 5 hrs but when i remember ill respond to this with the reason for me posting this.
